加藤学園女子団体V
狙い通りの戦い加藤学園
○…加藤学園ー富士宮北の対戦となったソフトテニス女子団体決勝は、昨年の全国総体、国体を経験している両校のエースペア対決を制した加藤学園が21年ぶりの栄冠をつかんだ。
高田・鈴木組は序盤から相手の前衛を攻めてリードを奪う展開で富士宮北の佐野・岡本ペアを圧倒し、試合の主導権を握った。「狙い通りだった」と菅井俊介監督。
勢いを得た加藤学園が2本目の対戦もものにした。高田芽衣子主将は「(優勝は)入学時からの目標だった。信じられないくらいうれしい」と声を弾ませた。
準決勝の富士宮西戦がヤマだった。フルセットの末の大逆転勝利。最終ゲームで１ー6の劣勢を追う展開を乗り切った。菅井監督は「一度負けたようなもの。決勝は開き直ることができた」と精神面の効果も強調した。（静新５月２８日朝刊）
